The year 2023 will be amazing for fintech startups in Ghana as we launch the first edition of Pipe cohort in collaboration with the Ghana Fintech & Payment Association and StartOA. The cohort is focused on supporting Fintech startups building remittance products in Ghana, so with the collaboration we have with GFPA and StartOA makes it possible for us to tailor support for the growth of fintechs in the program. Get up to $5000 float funding on completion

After a successful completion of the cohort program, for you to launch and serve your targeted market, you will be provided with the float funding needed to kick-start. This will be after leveraging the Pipe infrastructure to build and show a working prototype which gets you ready to serve your first few users in the market.

Pipe 2023 Program Information

Pipe Cohort 2023 by FXKudi in collaboration with the Ghana Fintech Association and StartOA is focused on identifying, and supporting early-stage Fintech startups building remittance products in Ghana. These startups will receive mentorship from industry leaders and get support in building and getting ready to serve the market they are targeting. The 2023 cohort is accepting startups that have initial traction and a strong team.

Criteria

This cohort is meant for B2C Fintech startups focusing on remittance.
To be eligible, you need to have:
1. A working MVP
2. At least 2 co-founders/team members
3. Scaling potential across the African continent

What you get

For the period of the program which will take place for four weeks, you and your team will have access to expert mentors to understand trends, scalability & growth, and regulatory compliance. You also get support on product development and marketing, and finally, get to receive up to $5,000 in float funding after the program.

Process of selection

After submitting your application and it meets the cohort criteria, the scouting team will reach out for more information which will then move to the selection stage for us to make a decision. After that stage, we proceed to further understand what you’re building and how you’re building because the cohort is tailored to help you build faster, better, and go to market stronger.
